MaXXXimum Drum & Bass - Budapest Park

For the third time, we meet on the main stage of Budapest Park to party to our favorite musical style. Budapest Park and Bladerunnaz are kicking off the autumn season with a massive daytime party: on Sunday, September 13, 2026, as part of MaXXXimum Drum & Bass Daytime Rave, the cream of the genre is moving into Budapest Park. The line-up is not just strong, but a unique cross-section of the history and present of drum and bass, covering almost every important era and subgenre of the style. The event promises to be a real treat for the local hardcore fans, as the list of performers ranges from the freshest new-wave sounds to the darkest neurofunk essentials.

The most anticipated production of the main stage is undoubtedly the joint set of Camo & Krooked and Mefjus. The Austrian trio together currently represents the top tier of dnb when it comes to musical genius and studio-technical precision. Camo & Krooked's melodic yet extremely dynamic and detailed style fuses perfectly with Mefjus's merciless, engineering-precision neurofunk energy, making their joint performance a guarantee of futuristic, mind-blowing sound.

Alongside them, the history of dnb comes alive in Roni Size and Krust's iconic B2B set. We are talking about two living legends without whom drum and bass would not exist in this form today, having dictated the foundations of jungle and pulsing Bristol dnb since the nineties as pioneers of the Full Cycle label. This performance will be a perfect example of how to handle the legacy of the golden age with humility yet elemental power in a modern package.

For lovers of the darker neurofunk sound, the arrival of Virus Trinity represents the holy trinity, uniting forces with Ed Rush, Optical, and Audio. Ed Rush and Optical are the dark, cold, and dirty side of drum & bass—the creators of neurofunk—joined by their musical heir Audio. This formation holds nothing back, driving the Park's sound system to the max with rock-hard and uncompromising sonic bombs.

The British new wave and modern, more relaxed vibe are represented by Gray and Selecta J Man's joint set. Gray's cheeky, pulsing basses and Selecta J Man's fast-paced, modern jungle beats ensure that the atmosphere never flattens out for a second and that youthful, party energy completely permeates the afternoon dance floor. VIP remixes and dubplates will be flying in their set.
The local colors are represented by Shaymi, who, as one of the most reliable points of the Hungarian scene, knows exactly how to build a opening set tailored to the local audience.

Behind the microphones, the DJs are supported on the Park stage by three experienced MCs who have proven themselves multiple times in Budapest. Daxta will hype up the guys' set, Ryme Tyme, the voice of Virus, will naturally grab the mic alongside Ed Rush and company, while Tonn Piper, usually seen by Andy C's side, will this time be the partner of the Bristol legends, Roni Size and Krust.

The evening's planned schedule:
- 15:00 Gate opening
- Recommended arrival: between 15:00 and 16:00. If you definitely don't want to miss the acts, arrive on time!
- End of concerts + start of night parties: 22:00
